Rugged Country
Lens: Pentax-DA 18-135mm Camera: K-30 Photo Location: Owyhee Mts., SW Idaho ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F8

This was taken earlier in the year, near the summit of the Owyhee Mt. Pass in SW Idaho.

Yes, it's some extremely rugged country without a tree in sight for miles and miles and yet, some world record elk and mule deer are taken out of this area every year.

Seems like I'm coming across a lot of your pics lately. Love the varied lighting it this one, it really makes the scene come to life.

I've been AOL for quite a while, recuperating from some physical problems and had a lot of images on hand to edit and post.
