Lens: Asahi SMC Takumar 50mm F/1.4 Camera: Pentax K-3 Photo Location: Greater Cincinnati ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/180s Aperture: F11

Nothing spectacular or beautiful and not a macro shot but love the detail from the adapted lens, the SMC Takumar 50mm 1.4. It's been daunting getting proper focus but I think I've finally gotten it. It helps to be in live view with my newly acquired LCD hood which has a 2.5 magnifying lens built in and using the magnification option of the live view on the K-3 itself. In low light I have to get focus with the lens wide open then stop it down and use manual flash. This picture was taken with the onboard camera flash set at 1/2 power.

He is beautifully lovely in an ugly way. Sharp too. Wouldn't want to run into him in a bathtub.
