Solar eclipse series - sunspots, promineninces, the corona, and more!
Camera: K1 Photo Location: Russelville KY ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F16

Took these with my K1 today down in Russelville KY using the AT65Q, Celestron Luminos 2.5x barlow, and Pentax K1. I also did some video of it with the K3, which I need to process tomorrow. I got a few hundred images 30 seconds apart and I plan on doing those as a timelapse too. So, what do you think?

Make sure you post the time-lapse when you are done, I think it would be great

Wonderful sequence. I missed the partial eclipse here in Minnesota, so it's great to see what I was missing.

I saw the total eclipse here in Oregon, but decided to experience it and not document it. I had a great time - without my camera. Thank you for sharing so many wonderful photographs of the eclipse.

I am disappointed in my video and timelapse, and I had to throw away a ton of stills due to a meridian flip, but here you go.
