Milky Way Over Medicine Bow · **5 Likes**

This was taken the night before the eclipse at camp. The Milky Way was extremely bright and there were many shooting stars throughout the night. I have more to process but will probably leave those for tomorrow. I'll post them in this thread when I finish them.

This is a single 25 second image. Camera used was a Nikon D600 and Samyang 14mm F2.8 lens.

Wow, great work. I have just started getting into MW shots this year, getting better but nothing as good as that. I am using my kit lens, a SIGMA 18-125mm DC HSM, which is a good all-rounder, but a bit limiting for this kind of work. I see you used the Samyang 14mm F2.8 lens--this just seems to keep cropping up as a very good value lens for this kind of work.
