Eclipse
Lens: Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 Camera: Pentax K5-iis Photo Location: Athens, Tennessee ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 1/3s Aperture: F10

Took a road trip from Massachusetts to Tennessee with my son..
2125 total miles.
5 days
2 nights sleeping at rest areas on the highway, once knowing that was the plan, once because our hotel overbooked...
1 national park (Shenandoah),
1 time nearly running out of gas... (I put in 16.3 gallons of gas into my car after I nearly had a panic attack seeing the gas gauge so low... it only officially holds 16 gallons!)

Anyway...
This is my best shot from the day..

Very nice! I really liked the corona's asymmetry, my only other eclipse in 1979 had a very circular corona with a squashed side. Sunspots and other activity makes for better eclipses
