Last night I took my Tamron SP 300mm f/2.8 to the park along with the Tamron 1.4x TC (the newer K-mount model) and a Vivitar 2x TC. I wanted to see if the 2x TC would capture an image that I could live with - given I spend most of my time looking at photos on a screen or on the web (not printed 12x18" or anything).
So, I shot manual and botched the exposure on pretty much everything. I -thought- that the (new to me) K100D Super had a really crappy LCD in the evening light. Turns out I was underexposing everything by 2 stops. There is lots to be said for getting to know your camera. Any undo noise is from having to pump up the exposure.
Here are some of my favs from the outing. You can click on the images to see the full-res version. EXIF is intact.
