Very nice image, do the buildings on the beach belong to the castle?

Thank you, I would imagine so, as the castle owns the 1,379 acres (558ha) all around it.

If I show you... I'd then have to kill you.

As being the Kerrowdown is not without it's trials and tribulations of being so famous and all, so I have to keep a little aloof and secretive as to where I lay my head.

The greed and injustice comment was of course not related to the photograph and could in a way be related to any castle or mansion. I was thinking about the infamous Sutherland clearances in the first decades of the 19th C.

Oh, wpvv, the "Clearances"!! Yes a dark chapter in highlands history: perhaps more brutal and inhumane than any of the clan wars.
We Grant's took a very different route at that time (Possibly one of our more gentle periods).

My "frowns" were a bit of a knee jerk reaction to the negative thoughts towards the present incumbents that I thought was implied.

Glad that I explained my intentions! Don't know anything about the present owners or inhabitants.

It's the family seat of the Earl of Sutherland and the Clan Sutherland.

We don't have any family seats over here.
