Yeah, my team (Essendon) have limped into the 'playoffs' by a system of short kicking out of defence into the congestion on either side of the ground, then one of about six individuals is trusted for a risky 45 degree angled kick back into the centre, where it should then be really freeflowing all the way towards the goals. It's a risk because if the kick isn't perfect, or the skill of the receiver isn't up to it, an interception means the opposition now has a freeflowing run back into our goals.
As a spectator, this is hair-raising stuff, because sometimes from up in the stands you can anticipate the error before the players do!
