A few from my new Bigma (3 large IMG)
Posted By: rfortson, 02-20-2007, 02:02 PM

One of the nice members of the forum sold me his Bigma and 1.4TC and this past weekend was the first time I got to play with it. Unfortunately, I could only stalk the wildlife in my backyard. However, I really enjoyed how well it worked, and as a bonus, I got further acquainted with my new tripod and ballhead. Together, it was a nice setup and easy to use.

@500mm, F/8, ISO200, 1/250s, on a tripod

@230mm, F/8, ISO800, 1/125s, handheld

and finally, @700mm, F/6.7 (actually higher, what does the 1.4TC do?), ISO200

Nice shots Russ, I think I know what you want to do this weekend! It sure is a nice lens. Can't wait to see more.

Nice shots. I've also got a Bigma.... awesome lens.
I need to get out more with it though.

BTW, i think the 1.4 TC will lower the light levels by 1 stop IRC. So f6.7 should be the equivalent of f8.
