I would have said a woman's head facing upwards. But same idea.

Yeah mate...I do think you have a problem
....particularly when I was going to say Vievetricks prize was a weekend with the monkey .....second prize is a week :ugh:

thank you thank you very much. It is a cool picture. Did you take it? PS I have two monkeys of my own. Age 6 and 3 that take up most of my time. I will pass the prize to the runner up

Hi Pat,
Yes, I did take the shot with my DS (think that particular shot was with the 50-200). There was a lot of haze around that has spoiled it a bit.

I took some others on another day that may be a bit clearer.
The shot is just out of Hamilton Isl near the Great Barrier Reef, the Island is, I believe, called Pentecost island. A beautiful part of the world.

I thought it was a dog looking up. I dunno the breed name. I'm looking at the rocky peak to the left above the treeline.

Was that what you were thinking too?

Its called The Gorilla by the locals, take the whole shot in, it forms a gorilla's / monkey's head lying in the water.
Here's another one taken with the DL & Pentax 18-55.
Sort of puts it in perspective.
