Macro Porch Spider

Was sweeping the porch the other day and startled this spider by bumping his/her web. The spider then hung out long enough for me to get my camera and mount my Vivitar

Series 1 28-105 Macro lens.

I found that in the daylight I wish I had the K-70 not my K-50 so I would have had the tilting LCD for live view. since I had to hold the camera above my head for the

shot.

SOOC then cropped only.

Let me know what you think, I am working to improve my technique.

I believe that is an Orb Weaver spider, although which species I don't know.

The body was about the size of my thumbnail. (And I have fairly large hands.)
