These butterfly's were all over my Catmint bush, which is also a real Honey Bee attractor. And yes that is a Yellow Jacket not a bee. I believe it is a European variety, the typical yellow jacket around here looks more like a wasp and likes to nest in the eves of my barn. The butterfly is a Painted Lady, they are migrating through Colorado at the moment. This picture is straight out of my camera. Also the butterfly was resting on a flower and the yellow jacket just flew into the frame unknown to me.

That's a wasp....or as you lot say, hornet. The flutterby looks genuine though...;-)
