Chilling! It's still very difficult to imagine how this could have happened. I feel so quiet and still. And, somewhat guilty for all the good fortune I've know in my life.

Excellent image, with the near-endless fences and buildings, in B&W on a cloudy, sunless day. Quite chilling. We must never forget.

I don't really think you can forget this and the other images that haunt your memory from this place and the others scattered over Europe.

From my teachers desk in 1949 to the classroom window was an enormous pile of used clothing being collected for those in the displaced persons camps, the last one did not close until 1957.

Very good shot that conveys the mood of the place.

I had visited there on a beautiful summer day, the contrast of a beautiful day, in a place of historic ugliness was remarkable.
