I really like the 3rd one. Some comments:

#1 is good, but I think a higher perpective (ladder?) would work better for this one.

The plant on the left side and leaf on the right are somewhat distracting in #2.

The lighter background in #4 almost forces you to look at the fireplace instead of the food.

Either way, I'm gettin' hungry!

I have to agree with 2 & 4. being the best, the shots are so good you don't notice the messy bowl, although the messy bowl screws up #1 because your eyes go right to it, but thats not your fault. and 3 was a little to close I think.
Some nice work congrats.

They all seem a bit "blurry" to me (camera shake perhaps?) almost as if the SS was a bit too low. Something about them is not quite crisp, but good job setting the tone!

Well i have a question. What was the intention for these photos. If commercial, then to what? To restaurant? And what's with this messy bowl Gulfer talks about, is it meant to be like this? It looks very interesting anyway
But 2. is my personal favorite. Crop that leave and keep that bush, it adds intimicy. Seems like very private corner - very romantic.
Actually im a male, what do i know about romance?

the messy bowl is french onion soup, when you finish it off for serving a lot of times the cheese bubbles over yum! Thank you for your comments

One thing I would do is use a different lens the next time for better DOF

The rest. owner will use some of the 150 pics for advert. & updating their web site. It is a bit tough to figure out which way to shoot some of these pics so I shot them in many different ways. Do you want to show off the food? Do you want to show how romantic the setting is? try to show both? It was very interesting and now I really must go find out more about this type of photography.

They need shots for different things. Advert as well as web site so I took a lot of different types of pics. I will be finding out in the next few days what they think of them.
