Another good shot. I know you are using a DA*300 but how much is the image cropped? And are you using a tripod? (Just trying to get a benchmark for my own generally miserable failures)

Cropped about 50%. No tripod this time but used a chain link fence to rest the lens on. Hard to get close. They spook real easy.
