Turning the time back to the 1940's these were scene over the skies of Lancaster Pennsylvania USA. this weekend. They didn't carry bombs or bullets. Instead they carried people who wanted to see what it was like to go back to the skies over Europe and find out how friends and family fought a war so many years ago. There were three planes this weekend, a B24, a B17 (shown below) and one of the first P51 mustangs. The Mustang was a trainer as you can see by the canopy. Almost looks like the British Spitfire.



There was only one plane in the sky when this shot was taken. I don't know where the other came from.
