Not so in the wild
Lens: Pentax SMC A 70-210mm f4 Macro Camera: K10D Photo Location: Norcross, GA ISO: 400 Aperture: F4

So there was a deer roaming around the back of our office building... apparently there was a coyote in the same spot earlier, but I didn't get to see it. This is the closest I think I've ever been to a deer, it didn't seem to mind me standing there taking pictures and eventually it just walked away slowly...

My kind of pictures.
Great shots.
Those older lenses work very well.

Thank you! Yes I agree... when I have the time to manual focus, the A 70-210 gets me results I'm much more pleased with, than my Tamron 70-300. It's kept me from wanting a 55-300.

She even seems to have eyelashes on one of the pictures, doesn't she?

The interesting thing is that this is a very developed area and there aren't that many green areas for her to eat around here, though there are some places where there's a couple acres of just woods... she must have come from the nearby park, that is a bout a 5 minute drive. It's a 127 natural park and I've seen deer there before - I think it's probably getting overpopulated though, so my guess is that they are looking for new places to go to.
