One Bad, Red Rose.
Lens: Pentax-DA 18~55mm AL Camera: Pentax k100d super Photo Location: Nature Reserve Park. ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F11

Focal Length 55mm, Manual Exposure Mode, No flash and used Pattern Metering.

Thanks for viewing. This red rose admittedly took some effort to get it to this point. Looks a little blown out, but not too bad. Still a nice Looking flower.

Thank you very much. I am still impressed with the performance of that Pentax kit lens. The red in this image seems to appear to be a little peculiar because there is no uniformity throughout. That 6.1 CCD Sony Sensor does a fair job, but I think the K-50 is better equipped to handle this color.
