This is one of the best cat pictures that I have seen in a long time, wonderful image.

Agree...it is a good photo. Smokey looks like a good kitty...he deserves some tuna! )

Very nice image Smokey...8-16mm wouldn't be first choice for this purpose but you made it work by isolating it against the bannister.

Thanks! Not my choice either - but if I'd gone to change lenses, the moment would have passed. Like missing recording a video of Smokey imitating a slinky down the stairs.
