First outing with K100D and 50-200

First outing with K100D and 50-200 · 08:12 PM

Weather finally broke a little in Chicagoland and I was able to get out and really try out the new K100D and 50-200mm lens.

I am very pleased with the sharpness of these shots.

Probably too many tiger and leopard shots posted, but I love the big cats.

Hi Bruce great shots, nice and sharp and good color. If you want to have the shots show up here just right click on the photo in flickr you want to post here (try to keep the size down to 800 along the longest side) go down to properties, click that and then copy the url that's displayed. Come back here, click on the "insert image" icon (it's the second to last on the left had group of icons directly above this message box) and a little dialogue box will pop up. Paste your url there and click OK. Bingo you photo will be pasted here. Enjoy your new camera and keep posting those grrrrreat

Really nice shooting, Bruce. Loved the lion with mane and the female cat. Mandrill really showed very nice color. Makes me want to get the 50-200. Freddy

Wonderful pictures. I really like the big cats, but I think the gorilla is absolutely awesome!

Awesome shots! Yeah - this makes me want to go to the zoo too. Take some shots of the polar bears...Maybe Marineland in Niagara Falls too, if it's open - see the belugas!

Sorry. Can't explain. As I said, my first use of Flickr. It works fine every time I test it.
