Taughannock Falls
Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Trumansburg, NY

We drove about an hour and a half down to Taughannock Falls yesterday. Beautiful falls that descend 215 ft (65 m) at the head of a beautiful gorge with cliffs on both sides. It was a beautiful day for a hike to a beautiful spot. One shot is from the overlook high above on one of the cliffs, and the other is at ground level after walking up the trail.

Nice! Would've tried at the 2nd photo to remove the trees on the left side, that's the only thing that is a bit of annoying. But great shots anyway!

Sorry you're annoyed. I'll be sure to tell the park service to trim those back right away. Seriously, though. To preserve the natural habitat it is posted all over to stay on the trails. There were idiots climbing all over to get better shots, but I won't be one of them. In this shot, you can kind of see how the foliage went. The trail went right along the bottom. I suppose I could crop them out, but I actually kind of like the imbalance.

I like the first image the best, but the second is OK - don't mess with Mother Nature.

Both really nice shots. One provides a look of the creek above and the other below the falls. The trees are not annoying to me, I think they add to the photograph.
