Darkness comes

Trying to get my head around the K20D, went for a walk with my eldest son (well i dragged him, he's 15 in two weeks)
Shutter 1/125 sec Aperture F16 manual pentax M 50mm F2.0

Like the compostion. My eyes first went to the tree in the foreground. Next they were attracted to the shadow of the clouds in the water (left of the tree). That drew me to the clouds. Well done.

Best way is to shot everything that takes your eyes and experiment ,this is the best teacher as you learn you grow more condfience

Very nice composition and a good looking shot, great colours. Little bit of a pity you couldn't get the top of the cloud in IMO, if only you had stepped back a couple of feet.

Comp is great...I am imagining this shot taken in portrait mode with the Sigma 10-20mm @10mm...Boy that scene would be breathtaking...
