I shoot it as my Pentax sees it
Lens: Tamron SP AF 24-135mm F3.5-5.6 AD AL Camera: Pentax K-1 Photo Location: France

I usually don't shoot these sort of picture.
But then I thought there was sort of an artistic quality here worth shooting a frame. The other thing is, the love of the dog toward his master is in my mind the softening component here and alone worth a picture. Loyal dogs are free of any prejudices and this clearly shows here.
Don't you agree ?

Cheers

It is a picture with a story, and thus was worth taking.

Note that he does have the dog's chain attached to his foot

The partnership is an ancient one. It changed us and it changed dogs. For the better, I think. Great shot, and a touching image.

I love it because the guy looks rather tough and the dog isn't a poodle either. But the way you show them here is really touching.

I love the tee shirt "my goal is to be as good a person as my dog thinks I am". The meaning of unconditional. It was a good shot.
