just got a macro bellows!
Posted By: timbo13, 08-25-2008, 06:44 AM

ever since I learned about them here at Pentax Forums, I have had my eye out for a set of bellows. I was fortunate enough to pick up a set of K mount bellows on eekbay recently at a very good price. Here are some of my first images with my new toy. First two were taken using a Pentax A 80-200mm and last two using a Pentax M 50mm 1.7

rose

tiny little flowers

day lily

I had a lot of fun taking these, I hope some of you enjoy seeing them! Let me know your thoughts or any macro tips you might have to help me improve.

Wow, nice job. I can't get my mind around the rose; I swear it looks like bubble wrap. What color was it anyway - red, white? Like them all.

thank you, it was a pale pink fading to a sort of peach color. There was dew on it, you are right, it does look like bubble wrap.

Did you already have a macro lens? If you do, you will see that the combination of bellows and macro lens will make even stronger macro... it is great!

Like the img of the rose, and the last one. Have fun!
