You're not wrong there but try to explain that to your Insurance Company who want to reduce it's value for insurance purposes when in fact it's value is increasing. It's a case of the Insurance Company wanting it's cake and eating it too.

They specialize with insuring cars and motorcycles for their real value. Vintage, veteran and custom vehicles are their bread and butter. Worth a call methinks.
