Canopy Spider over a small garden pond

Nice. I have used M50/1.7 to a spider shot like this.. But not with a 2x TC. You should have taken one without the TC to see if helped with the sharpness/detail.. I am thinking it may have given you more/enough sharpness to crop/zoom and show more detail on his body than now unless you planned to show his nest/web which is kind of lost in the dark background blur.

I had to look for the original first ....
and yes, it is a crop of 62%, therefore not so optimal.
The spider was only about 6-7mm in size.
