Sunset at Lower Cascade Lake, NY
Lens: Rokinon 14mm 2.8 Camera: Pentax K-1 Photo Location: Lower Cascade Lake, NY ISO: 100

The best season for photography is almost over, and I'm just getting out to shoot due to my crazy experience trying to repair my K-1 under warranty (long story short, it took over a month and they didn't fix anything
Finally I was able to take my gear and go shoot at the Cascade Lakes near Lake Placid. Area is almost past peak, but still some nice color and a lot of foliage is still on the trees. Anyway, wanted to share a photo from the outing

Wonderful image, thanks for posting it. Many, many moons ago we used to visit that area often, that's when we lived in Montreal, P.Q.

Me and my wife love Montreal, we go there almost every month during the warm seasons planning to visit city of Quebec as soon as we can, seems like a great place too.

Good idea to shoot immediately over rocks and stuff - puts more than just shore and lake in the foreground.
