A Hint of Art Deco
Lens: Pentax-FA 50mm f:2.8 Macro Camera: K-50 Photo Location: Idaho ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F11

This is the door panel of a 1937 Pontiac. The hint of art deco in the stitching caught my eye.

The handles show the signs too, well spotted.

Very nice photography.

The fabric design that curves around the window wind has a nice art deco touch. Did you get a chance to take a photo of the Pontiac hood ornament. Usually they were of Chief Pontiac, famous namesake of these wonderful cars. I like the trim ...sort of...an ivoryish looking bakelite type material on the control knobs and the horizontal trim on this door panel. Lot's of stuff to see ...design wise..in this photo.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I did get to photograph the hood ornament. Here's a few from that afternoon.

Had to save the last one for me, I hope it's ok..
I love art deco, since playing BioShock time ago..
Can you imagine if you were right there at Chicago or New York at that era with a K1 and the Limiteds?

No, don't mind at all! I'm honored! Oh yeah.... all the Deusenbergs, Caddys & Dodges runnin' the streets! Here's one hood ornament shot without the sunburst. If you're into hood ornaments, I thought you might like it better. You have NO IDEA how bad I wanted to rip this off!

Excellent photography. I really like the first and last photo of Chief Pontiac...both with and without sunburst. Others are very good too. That old Poncho is a treasure trove of potential pictures.

Thanks again. The FA-50mm f:2.8 macro lens really snagged a lot of detail! What I'd give to own that old '37 Chieftan.... and have the money to turn it over to the "Counting Cars" guys in Las Vegas! The body was all there and in fairly good condition. Those guys could make it into a show-stopper!

Real nice shots Dewey. While not in good condition, I noted the factory radio! Really nice.
