Sliding Rock
Lens: HD PENTAX-DA 16-85mm Camera: K-3II Photo Location: North Carolina ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/3s Aperture: F13.5

We have been gone for about 3 weeks and are on the homeward stretch now. Thought I would post some of the photos I took over the next few weeks.
This is a waterfall called Sliding Rock. Youngsters (anyone under the age of 70) like to slide down the rock into the deep pool below. It is located in North Carolina near Brevard.

I agree.... you nailed the shutter speed on this one. Nice image, Susan. I envy you and your travels. I've never had the chance to visit that part of the country.

Thanks Dewman. We have been lucky since we retired and are doing what we love. Thankfully, we are still in good health and love traveling in our RV all over the US. We have been to so many national parks that we have lost count but still return frequently to see them all again.

Sigh....! I'm envious.... but at the same time, so glad you're having such a good time. My, my, but all the photo ops you've seen. Have you had the good fortune to visit Idaho?

Yes. We have been there twice but still haven't done the state justice. So, it remains on the bucket list.
