I like flies
Lens: A70-210 Camera: K5 ISO: 800 Aperture: F6.3

that's the only reason I can think of for why I keep shooting them

I could probably do a bit more to post process these a bit better, although I should hope I have subject matter that is a bit more compelling.

Thank you. That's quite a compliment. It was nice to be able to take advantage of the weeds I'd let grow wild this past summer for some positive use.

Thanks Jer. Certainly a bit of luck and burst shooting to get the focus, since there is always a breeze in the back yard. But it is also fun to shooting a lens in different way. I likely had the 70-210 for trying to photograph the occasional visiting bird, but the nice feature of the lens is cranking to 70 and popping into its macro mode, which lets you get in fairly close for a zoom, and thus also blur out the background.
