Ice Cave on Mt. Ranier

I was browsing through some old slides and came across this image shot about 50 years ago! While our ship (the USS Ticonderoga CVA14) was in dry dock for repairs, I went camping in Mt. Ranier Park with a Navy buddy of mine. We discovered this ice cave up on the side of the mountain.

Nicely done--I could well imagine a shot like this in National Geographic back in the day.
