Under the Avon Pier in the Outer Banks at sunset. The pier itself is a beautiful wooden structure.

Exquisite - this one should hang on the wall.

Incredibly beautiful. I would definitely want to frame that for my wall if I'd taken it.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I have to admit that it is one of my favorites from the Outer Banks.

Very nice! Most definitely worthy of having printed and on the wall.

Very good eye to pick out this composition, very well exposed and with wonderful detail in the sand. All in all in winner in my book!

You had a very good eye for this shot. Amazingly sharp considering the wide aperture and low light.

Thanks everyone. This was taken with a 15mm which I purchased used from B&H. They didn't do me wrong. I have only used the lens a couple of times and really felt stuck with it at the Avon Pier so I just tried my best and hoped for the best. I was quite surprised at how well it did. It may well become my favorite landscape lens. Dewman, be careful what you ask for as I have a series taken at the pier and will undoubtedly bore everyone with them soon.
