A Magnificent '57 Chevy Hard Top. · **3 Likes**

I saw this car in traffic and I couldn't resist asking the driver if I could take some photographs of it. He invited me to follow him home, and I shot these in his driveway. A frame-up restoration. A 400HP Chevy "crate motor," and gorgeous tan kid-skin leather interior. Four-wheel disc brakes. I loved the fact that he left the car in it's natural state, body-wise. Everything he did to it was with great taste and perfection. It sounded so good, with the mellow dual exhaust. I looked this car over with a very critical eye and I could NOT find a single flaw.... it's fit and finish was top drawer.

Beautiful...and to top it off on one of my all time favourite vintage cars..the '57 Chevy two door hardtop.Like the first pic...front end...and second/third in particular. In the 2nd/3rd you caught the classic tail fin and curve of the coupe hardtop...very nicely. Good job !
