Wonderful captures. I cannot seem to achieve this type of quality when shooting under clouds. Of course, rain is even more challenging. Thanks so much for sharing.

Yes, you are correct. The last month or so, I have been attempting to avoid PPE and use the presets only in my Pentax gear. Sometimes it comes out very well, and there are times when it does not. I feel it gives me familiarity and confidence in my equipment's capabilities. Trial and error as they say.

Rgds,

Are you saying that you only shoot JPEG ?
Just asking, nothing wrong with that at all if you enjoy adjusting in camera presets.
I enjoy shooting in RAW and spend time in Lr to tweak.
Still learning every day using Lr and have experimented with photos that I thought were great but can make them better.
I really enjoy learning photography as others do.
Keep at it and have fun.

Yes I do shoot exclusively JPEG. I have tried several times to shoot RAW, then use FastStones Image Viewer to make adjustments, however, the problem is I cannot get a RAW file over to Photo Editor 10 because I cannot rotate a RAW file. Again, I can shoot RAW, upload it, but then I have to convert it to JPEG by Saving/Making a copy then work with the newly converted JPEG file. Somewhat cumbersome, but I do enjoy JPEG.

Thanx, CJ.
