Thats a really beautiful shot, the bird is crisp and the flowers almost macro like.

thanks PenPusher, trying to get a lock with the DA55-300 was a bit tricky with the bird flitting around amongst the flowers, but happy with how this one turned out, cheers.

thanks mananpots, yes handheld, these little birds flit about so much there's no time to adjust a tripod, barely enough time for the DA55-300 to focus, cheers

this is a rather large area of these plants growing "wild" along a walking track, I must have been about 10-15 flitting there way through these, I must have been there for 15min and only came up with 3 usable shots the birds were that busy!
