Another back road discovery:



Ooops - the lens listed is in error - it's actually the 24mm.

Great Shot : Its a very interesting structure and must have been expensive when originally built.

Nice find, John. It's interesting that most of the barns you see that have collapsed all give way at the same spot.... the middle of the roof.

If I knew civil engineering, I might be able to explain this better. My understanding is that most building failures are a result of leaky roofs, which causes rot of structural pieces - and nothing good can happen after that.

just love old Barns shame this one falling down , a lot of labour went into building that ! nice capture
