1000th post... and one too many pics
Posted By: Igilligan, 08-26-2008, 09:56 AM

How can that be??? I really want to thank Adam for giving us a place to hang out, learn and share. It know it gets said all the time, but this is the best little forum on the web. It is very addictive and yet soothing like a salve... 1000 posts already... I am addicted

I have had my K100 just over a year.. In fact, it just came back from pixel mapping that I waited till the one year warranty was almost up before I sent it in.
I was going to post a bunch of my faves from this year. But instead I went to a Birthday party with some old friends from SF... It was Morgan's 25th birthday. She was only 6 when she moved in below us in one of those three story victorians in the city. Time flies my friends, for you young ones here, it is hard to believe now, but man o' man it does fly. Seems like yesterday I was singing in bands, hair down to the middle of my back... Oh well enough memory lane stuff.

Ok some party shots.... K100d - tammy 28-75 and a few Fa 50 shots....
This cam can be a pretty good family snapshot shooter when called upon

I am breaking the rule about posting too many pics... but at 1000 posts, it is time to break some rules!

THE BIRTHDAY GIRL

Gettin' all Posey... they all began to mock my candid attempts and started the fake posing...

And some of the rest of us...

And one of my faves, we were poking a little fun at our wonderful host....

Hey Jimbo

Thanks for the comments... and I know, 'a thousand posts' in a year says something about how
much time I spend on the computer, when I could be out shootin' bugs....

Some great people shots in there, Gus. Good shootin' and congrats on the anniversary!

(I hit 1000 posts in about 7 months....does that mean I have no life?)

Absolutely no life....

I think it says we have just a tad bit of a life... but more importantly it means
I got a lot of catchin' up to do... I am not sure what you are averaging a day...
but I feel I'm eatin' some serious dust here...

Thanks for the kind words... and watch your back, I was just pacing myself on these first thousand...
Petal to metal now!

Looks like that was a fun party Gus.

(I've done over 1700 in 5 months, I must be really sad).
(In my defense my bad back has narrowed my options.

Over 2000 posts since January means I probably have no life at all.
