So it is a "van ordinaire"? Sorry couldn't resist jumping in with an old joke. Nice composition--a lot of history with those old Kombis, much of which is not fit for discussion in a public forum :-). i speak as a former owner...

I had one of these -- actually a 1970 Microbus. The driver will be the first one to the accident sitting on the front wheel. I am lucky to be alive.

Microbuses are true vintage vehicles these days - a common sight back when I was a teenager - so B&W was totally appropriate for this scene.

My sister and BIL had a '67 VW Van...multi window...sides and roof I recall. It came from Northern California.
