The Blue Torch is the giant star Alnitak that shines bright between the Flame Nebula and the Horsehead Nebula.

Wow, 50 images at 180s means you have a very great amount of patience and skill. Thank you for posting this, it may inspire some other people to post similarly great images.

What do you use for your tracking and what software do you use to stack ?

Thank you both for the compliments

I have the camera/telescope on a Skywatcher equatorial mount that is finetuned by an Mgen autoguider. For the stacking I use the freeware Deepskystacker. The postprocessing is done in Photoshop.
