Thank you. As a matter of fact, it was.... it and the accompanying news article about the fight. I was working for McClatchy News Services at the time as a "Jimmy Olsen" of sorts. Full-time copy boy, teletype operator / wannabe news photog / reporter. I covered this California State Bantamweight Championship fight for them in 1975. By the way, the "David" in the photo won by decision. Fifteen rounds of pure mayhem! Props are due.... Rojeleo Lara (L) and Rudy Villagonza.

Ops... my bad about the camera/lens combo. This was taken back in 1975 and my memory isn't as good as it used to be. It should have read "Super Tak f:1.4". IIRC, I was shooting at a perceived ASA of 1200, shooting Tri-X and heating the developer. The lighting in the arena was horrible and I had to take some extraordinary measures to cope with it. My actual exposure info is long-since forgotten.
