Red tailed hawk
Lens: DA*300+1.4x AW Camera: K5IIs Photo Location: Necedah, WI. ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F10

Not much out there today but did catch this red tailed hawk.

Nice Capture. Curious as to why f10. for an aperture. Most lenses begin to show diffraction softness above f8. Could use some PP sharpening around the eyes.

I agree, it is a very nice capture. I am impressed that there does not appear to be any CA anywhere. Did you need to do some adjustments in PS?

f10 was an experiment.
It so happened to be the sharpest photo.
pp was the normal couple clicks sharpness and vibrance.

It depends on what you are using for your software. In Lightroom you would use the local adjustment brush. In Photoshop maybe a masked layer

Kind of fiddled with it and it works
I have LR.
I keep learning something the more I use it and watching videos on LR usage and the feedback from this great forum.
