Just the right amount of snow to keep some detail in the image...very nice Kerrowdown.

Thank you, it was the clouds and snow blowing over the hill that first caught my eye.

Very nice, but it looks like you have more snow than we do! Just curious - how do you pronounce the name of the hill?

Remarkable depth in the frame--on big iMac monitor (and with the right single-malt) I could stare at it all day.

Am I given to understand that which is "first" is more critical than the second, third, fourth..?.


At any rate, I was just thinking this weekend that it's been well nigh a decade since I was in Scotland--time to get back, though I'll have to get used to shooting my landscapes in "burst" mode.

Rough weather on that hill for sure. Really nice to see a landscape with such a strong dynamic element in it.
