Sailboats waiting for the starting gun, preparing for a race off Tiburon, near Angel Island, in San Francisco Bay. This particular spot was a great place to watch them jockeying for position.

Beautiful! I love how the sails seem to be catching a little bit of sunlight.

Nice colorful boats, with a bit of sun and a sky that suggests that they might have chosen a better day, shall we say. Very nice image. That pink spinnaker is definitely going to provide a little excitement, as Schraubstock points out.
