Architecture After Plaster

I happened upon this building a week ago and just a little bit of the signage was peeking out of the plaster. Second photo was a week later. I have a link a link to a Google Maps picture of what it looked like before the demolition started, just click on the second photo and look in the comments. I don't know what the plans are for the building, but I hope they can somehow preserve the way it looks now and make it functional.

Well, if the address in the link is correct, they just covered it with wood siding. I like the plaster or brick versions above much better!

Yes the link is correct. That is what it looked like before they started ripping the siding off.

Very cool. That first photo is great. I agree with you - I hope they are able to preserve the brick.

It's always neat to see the old signs that we covered over decades ago when old brick was covered .... I never under covering over brick.
