Fog
Lens: D FA 28-105 Camera: K-1 Photo Location: Lake Jackson, TX ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/2000s Aperture: F9.5

Last week began with days having high temperatures approaching 80F followed by cold and snow. In between we had foggy mornings, and here's silhouette of the live oak in our back yard, backlit with the sun just beginning to punch through the fog.

I really like the subtle variations in lighting throughout the scene. Nice composition!

Very fine Jer,

Nice to see trees that still have leaves this time of year.

Hey Tom - I appreciate the kind words, buddy. The tree's a live oak, so it always is covered with leaves. It looses 'em - constantly - as new ones grow back. Lot's of magnolias around here too and they're not deciduous ether. So . . . . . . . . . . winter here has a sort of green - brown hue.

Thank you, my friend. Actually, it's not B&W - but it sure looks like it.
