Out hunting meteors last night. Didn't find any, but I got this star trail in.

The shower was kind of a bust, I think. Great you came away with something! I had one crummy one in 350 30-sec frames with the same lens.

Not a total bust as this is a fine image with that 15mm starburst...SMC version ?

Yeah, I was surprised I didn't get even one meteor! Sorry to hear about your luck. I think it'll be clear out again tonight, going to try a star stacked version.

Thanks, the starburst was a nice unexpected surprise! It is the older SMC version.

This barn is on my property, I could take an awful lot of photos of it.

Regardless of no meteors You've got a pretty cool shot here. I like how the barn is leaning into the star trails.

The older version DA 15 is the BEST version, because of the great
stars!

Still looks great, especially with that foreground!

Thanks Adam!

Been amazing clear skies out the last few nights, I really need to get out and try my hand at this again.
