I went to Rocky Mountain National Park today for some hiking and photography.
So far this year we haven't had much snow, at all. I thought at the higher elevations of some of the trails, that the snow would be better, but it was nearly dry at 10,000 ft. There was some snow in the shade, but the sunny parts of the trail were dry as a bone.
Snowshoes this time of year is normally a must for this area. All I needed today was crampons for the icy parts.
I took my digital camera as well as my Zone VI 4x5.
Here are a few digital shots, taken with a Fuji XT-1 and a 720nm IR filter. I still have to develop and scan in my 4x5 negatives.
