Man, I Hit that Thing Dead Center . . . . . . .
Lens: DA* 300/4 Camera: K-1 Photo Location: Lake Jackson, TX ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F8

The bokeh in this image was dramatically different than your other post that's similar. Completely different feeling from each.

Yes, what a difference a couple of days and a couple of f-stops can make. The photo here was taken on bright, partly sunny Christmas morning, allowing me to stop down to f/8; I took the other one yesterday during a dim and rainy afternoon, which forced me take the lens wide open at f/4. These two shots taught me how to use this lens in different ways for different looks; I'm pleased with how sharp the lens is at f/4, since my previous telephotos in this range were pretty mushy wide open.
