New to me FA 50mm 1.4
Posted By: vdubbin099, 08-29-2008, 08:35 PM

I just can't get over how great the fa 50mm is with colors, brokeh and sharpness. Jus thought I would share a couple of my random pics that I have taken with it over the last couple days.

and of course I had to take some of the big man of the house

Indeed the 50mm FA f/1.4 is a fantastic lens for its price, and I dare say, probably one of the best if not the best performance/price ratio piece of glass out there.

Nice shots!

Thanks, I think the first two really show how well this lens handles colors. I hope your able to enjoy your copy as much as I enjoy mine.

Nice shot, I like #2 the most. The colours are great and the blue sky is a total eye candy.

I am in the "wait and see" mode between the FA50 1.4 and the announced DA*55mm. I shouldn't be seeing this thread as this has seriously shorten my patience on the DA*

Ooooh I love the FA 50mm f/1.4. It's a shame this focal length isn't very usable on crop-frame cameras.

wow! nice shot Riba! I'd never seen a 100% crop and that is impressive. just looking at it makes me feel I did ok even at $200. As long as it arrives through the snail mail that is... lol

your baby has such beautiful eyes!
