Your hikes are in an interesting place. Where? I remeber catching those salamanders in the New Hampshire woods. Have not seen one in over 10 years.

Weatherwise2, I am only 15 miles from Warwick, and once dated a young lady from there--such a small world. I hike a lot in NH, but am yet to see one of these salamanders there.

Very nice shots. All in my neighborhood too which reminded me to get out in the woods at a couple more times before the snow flies.
